With over 30 years of professional experience in
zoos, wildlife refuges, laboratories and a nature center,
Howard Schwartzman now brings his unique knowledge
and skill into your classroom
Mr. Schwartzman has trained elephants, developed and operated a nature center,
and has handled hundreds of venomous snakes
while working in a venom laboratory.

Formerly the head keeper of the renowned California Alligator Farm, Mr. Schwartzman has spent most of his life working with animals as a trainer, keeper and educator.  His zoological experience spans a wide range of species from elk to elephants, from bird spiders to gaboon vipers.

Since his high school years, Mr. Schwartzman has delivered hundreds
of exciting "hands on" presentations to young people in seven states.
Today, you can witness your students become enthralled by meeting
some of the world's most exotic creatures in Mr. Schwartzman's care.

Your students will take to Howard Schwartzman
and his animals like
Second Nature!

"Howard Schwartzman's enthusiasm for science will excite any child."
"He captures their attention and does a great job educating them in the process!
A great presenter for any classroom.  He keeps the kids spell bound."
Helen Brewer, Fourth Grade Elementary School Teacher

"The slides and animals you brought helped the students focus
in a way that I couldn't achieve.  Your stories were relevant and interesting,
making your presentation rank among the best ever.
Richard Henderson, High School Biology Teacher

"His love and knowledge for animals hardly exceeds his love for children,
and with these together, he does a truly caring educational job."
Debbie Schlinger, Director of Children Service, Teton County Library
